Our take on AI Ethics

At Antrepreneurs, we focus on the possibilities of AI — the creativity, the breakthroughs, the new doors it opens — not just the limitations.

That said, we know we’re standing at the edge of something massive, something still being defined. The legal and ethical rules around AI are only just beginning to take shape, and anyone pretending to know exactly where it’s all headed is simply guessing. Smarter minds — from lawmakers to ethicists to artists — are working hard right now to figure out what “respecting original work” truly means in this shifting landscape.

On a personal note, I (as the founder) have always been an avid fan of artists, musicians, and creators. I produce and create music and soundscapes myself, so I’ve seen firsthand both the incredible things AI can do — and the real harm it can cause when creative work is copied in seconds or repurposed without care. But, it's not going away, so we better deal with it.

Here’s why we stay positive: AI isn’t just about making content faster or cheaper. It holds the power to jumpstart medical breakthroughs, accelerate scientific research, and make our world healthier and more connected in ways we’ve barely imagined.

It’s about opening doors — giving small teams the tools that once belonged only to giants with deep pockets and heavy corporate structures. It’s about helping entrepreneurs test bold ideas without burning through years of personal savings. It’s about freeing up time and energy, so we can focus on the creative, human work that really moves the needle — or, why not, spend more quality time with friends and family.

Generative AI isn’t just a work tool — it’s starting to feel like a personal guide, helping people grow mentally, reflect, and even push through tough moments. For some, it’s a quiet companion when they’re feeling lonely, offering a sense of conversation and connection that once sounded like something straight out of a Black Mirror episode. But here we are, watching it unfold in real life — and it’s reshaping not just how we work, but how we experience being human.

PS: Coming from the entertainment & music industry, I’ve seen how an entire field fought hard against everything digital while I was part of it — and while parts of it have suffered, one thing has only grown in value: real experiences. Live events, connection, and human moments have become more valuable than ever. No matter how advanced technology gets, experience will never lose its worth — but it will always have a price.

At Antrepreneurs, we’re not here to play judge or moral authority on every AI debate. We stay curious, we stay responsible, and we keep our compass pointed toward building tools, projects, and ideas that add value — not just shortcuts or harm. The ethics conversation will keep evolving, and so will we.

For now, we choose to focus on what we can build today, while staying aware of the impact we leave behind.
