Why coworking matters
Hello there, Tom Claes here, founder of the Antrepreneurs Community, where we embrace the spirit of local entrepreneurship in Antwerp. Now let's talk about something close to my heart: co-working.
After working remotely —even from abroad (Colombia)— and sometimes from client offices — for over 12 years, I started missing the little things that make office life so meaningful. The smell of fresh coffee in the morning, spontaneous (bad) jokes, chaotic bursts of energy, and those moments of total silence that bring focus. But more than anything, I missed the camaraderie — the shared wins after launching something great for a client for example...
That’s exactly why I opened up a few desks in my small space: not just to work, but to work together. If you’ve been flying solo and crave some creative company, this might just be the place you’ve been looking for.
Co-working isn’t just about square meters and sharing office space; it’s about creating a collaborative ecosystem where ideas are born, businesses grow, and connections become partnerships. Now I've been active in various cowork spaces, and I can tell you, 9 out of 10 are headphone silos where people sit & work. No cross-pollination at all...
It’s about building something bigger than just (y)our own business, it’s about contributing to a community. That's also where the AI Academy comes in.
At Antrepreneurs, we’ve carved out three co-working spots. Yes, only three. Why so few? Because we’re not aiming for quantity; we’re aiming for quality. Oh, it's just a small, but cozy space. ;-)
It’s about building something bigger than just (y)our own business, it’s about contributing to a community.
We’re looking for individuals who share our ethos, people who are entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs themselves, rooted in the city of Antwerp. Preferably you’re a startup founder, a freelancer, or someone promoting innovation from within your company, you’re the kind of person who brings energy, creativity, and passion to the table.
Now, let me be upfront (read: franken teut alert): if you’re part of a big corporate machine looking for an extra seat somewhere in Antwerp, you probably won’t match very well. We’re all about creating a space for those who are hands-on, creative, and putting our money where our mouth is by investing in our local community. Bonus points if you're into music, design, development, hospitality, real estate, sports and/or media. Or anything else that's out of the ordinary and needs a place.

Each workstation is equipped with a Desktronic Pro sit-stand desk, giving you the flexibility to move between sitting and standing throughout your day. Built-in USB charging ports keep your devices powered without the clutter. And for the perfect working atmosphere, we’ve added BuzziSpace lamps with adjustable dimmers.
The essentials: blazing-fast wifi & great coffee
No co-working space is complete without these essentials. Get your work done without interruptions and fuel your day with coffee that’s just as strong as your work ethic.
Note: there's also water and tea (and occasionally beer, wine and gin too). Oh wait, it's an office... but still, we're equipped to celebrate victory when needed. ;-)
Workshops & Events
One of the things I’m most excited about is hosting micro workshop sessions right here in the space. As a resident of the co-work space, you’ll have access to these sessions, designed to help you sharpen your skills, explore new ideas, and connect with like-minded people.
Free business book library
The wisdom can be stolen, but the books must be borrowed and returned. Our library is stocked with essential reads for entrepreneurs, offering inspiration, strategies, and insights to help you grow your business. We accept business book donations too. ;-)
A platform for your ideas
Need a venue for a micro event? You’ll have the opportunity to host your own events right here at the Brouwersvliet 24. Whether it’s a product launch, a brainstorming session, or a community gathering, our space is your space.
